Explore My Vision
I'm a seabird scientist and conservation photographer, working in Tikapa Moana (the Hauraki Gulf) on petrels and shearwaters.
My research seeks to understand how changes to our environment are impacting seabirds by monitoring their health in repsonse to factors such as rising sea temperatures. I'm lucky to work on islands throughout the Gulf to conduct population surveys and take samples, which gives me a chance to photograph in some amazing places that our native seabirds call home.
When I'm not busy with research, I can be found all over the country working or volunteering on other projects, or simply chasing my love of wildlife photography.
