Portraiture and People
An interview with Edith Amituanai
This week Rachel from 95bFM speaks with Edith Amituanai, a New Zealand born Samoan Photographer based in Auckland. Edith's photography practice centers on portraiture; documenting the communities around her and exploring what it means to make a home. In 2017 she participated at Hasting Art Gallery - where she worked with the kids at Kimi Ora Community School. The result is a beautiful collection of photos some taken by Edith but also by the children - which present the people and object that matter to them the most.
